Kai’s Coffee was created from love, friendship, and purpose.

Our Story

Founded by best friends Kristie and Jhoana, Kai’s Coffee began as more than just a coffee cart. It became a way to transform something deeply personal into something that brings comfort and joy to others. The name “Kai” comes from Malakai, Kristie’s angel baby who passed in 2021. Every cup served is a tribute to his life, honoring his memory in a meaningful and uplifting way.

With a shared passion for coffee and a dream of building something special, Kristie and Jhoana took a leap of faith and created Kai’s Coffee from the ground up. Jhoana, also Malakai’s godmother, has been by Kristie’s side through every step of the journey making this venture not just about business, but about family, healing, and love.

From thoughtfully crafted drinks to the welcoming atmosphere, they strive to create, Kai’s Coffee is built on connection. It’s a place where community meets heart and where every cup tells a story.
